Tatebanko is the Japanese art of making dioramas out of paper. Typically the diorama is housed inside a paper box and portrays some kind of scene. It was very popular and widely admired from the 17th century (Edo period) to the early 20th century.
This is my humble abstract and chaotic interpretation of this ancient art.
